Day 2 of the 11th edition of the Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament in Kigali, features an exciting encounter between Cameroon Women and defending champions Uganda Women. With nine participating teams, this clash promises intense action for Uganda to defend their title.
Uganda have registered back-to-back wins, winning both their games against Cameroon so far. In their 2024 Kwibuka T20 Tournament campaign, Uganda secured a comprehensive 95-run victory over Cameroon. Uganda remained unbeaten, winning all 7 matches and emerging as the champions of the 2024 edition, after beating Zimbabwe A by 2 runs in a tense low-scoring final. Cameroon, still developing in international cricket, will aim to challenge the seasoned Ugandan side.

Her highest score records for 68* against USA and helped clinched Uganda a victory by 8 wickets in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier, 2024.
Madaleine Sissako
