Angelica Salomao

Angelica Salomao, born May 9, 1999, is a Mozambican cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. She has picked up 23 wickets in 27 innings with best bowling figures of 3 for 15 in her latest outing against Eswatini Women. She is the captain of the Mozambique Women’s cricket team and is known for her all-round skills on the field.

Kananelo Molapo

Kananelo Molapo is a right-handed batter from Lesotho. Still early in her career, she has scored 86 runs with the bat and with the highest score of 29 coming in one of her latest outings which is a positive sign. She represents a new generation of emerging women’s cricketers from Lesotho, participating in international tournaments such as the ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier.

Maneo Nyabela

Maneo Nyabela is a right-arm medium pace bowler and the current captain of the Lesotho women’s national cricket team. She made her international debut on September 2, 2023, against Malawi. Nyabela has scored 53 runs in 13 T20Is and has also picked 11 wickets with the ball which shows her contribution in both the departments, playing a key role as an all-rounder for her team.

Botswana Cricket Association Oval 2 in Gaborone features a hard and bouncy pitch that generally offers plenty of assistance to bowlers, especially pace bowlers early on in the match, with swing and seam movement making batting difficult. As the game progresses, spinners can also find support as the surface wears.
