Trinidad and Tobago Women’s cricket Association Franchise League is starting from 3rd December, this tournament is one of a kind in that region and will feature all West-Indies women players.
Four Jamaican female cricketers are set to play in the upcoming Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association Franchise League. Natasha McLean will represent the Udecott North Star Blazers, Windies captain Stafanie Taylor along with Chadean Nation for Southern Titans, while Chinelle Campbell will represent the Central Sharks.
Allowances were given to West Indies players Taylor and Hayley Mathews, Grimmond and Quiana Joseph will replace them during their absence in this tournament respectively. Taylor is suffering from injury and was ruled out during the India series.
The domestic circuit for West Indies women has been evolving over the years and this is a piece of great news to clinch talent from the grass-root level and groom them for further tournaments.
