This landmark initiative featured female players aged 10–16 years, providing young schoolgirls an equal platform to showcase their cricketing skills. This innovative tournament will feature 14 school teams.

The tournament aims to encourage participation at the grassroots level, giving young girls early exposure to structured competitive cricket. Unlike traditional pathways that often highlight talent once it has already fought through odds, this initiative ensures recognition begins at the right age.

Tournament Format:

Teams and Groups: A total of 14 teams divided into Group A (8 teams) and Group B (6 teams).

League Matches: Each team will play two matches within its group.

Semi-Finals: The top 4 teams overall qualify.

Semi-final 1: 1st position vs 4th position

Semi-final 2: 2nd position vs 3rd position.

Final: Winners of the semi-finals clash for the championship.

Overs Format:

Round 1 (League): 4 overs per side.

Round 2 (Knockout): 2 overs per side.

This structure ensures every team plays multiple matches while keeping the action fast-paced, fun, and competitive.

A Platform with Purpose

The event champions inclusivity at the grassroots level, removing barriers such as academy tags or elite training labels. It is built on the belief that recognition must begin early, instilling confidence in schoolgirls to carry forward their passion for cricket.

“Every time a girl walks onto a cricket field, she carries far more than a bat or a ball. She carries hope. Hope that she belongs. Hope that her game matters. Hope that the world will see her not as an exception but simply as a cricketer.” Vishal Yadav, Founder, Female Cricket.
