Everything You Need to Know About the Women’s T20 Tri-Series in Leeds, Starting August 31, 2025

The Women’s T20 Tri-series at New Farnley Cricket Club, Leeds, from August 31st to September 4th, 2025, represents a significant moment in the evolving narrative of women’s cricket, bringing together the spirited teams of Brazil, the Isle of Man, and Jersey to compete on one of Yorkshire’s historic grounds.

Brazil were last involved in the Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament in Rwanda in June earlier this year. They had an impressive campaign as they won four out of their seven games in the tournament. As a result, they finished 6th on the points table with 8 points from 8 games. They have won 35 games and lost 19 from 54 games in the T20I format.

Isle of Man Women were last involved in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Division 2 Qualifier in Italy in May 2025. They had a disappointing campaign as they just managed a solitary win in five games in the competition. They have won 19 games, lost 13 from 32 games in the T20I format so far.

Jersey were last involved in a bilateral series in Guernsey in July 2025. They won the one-off game by 90 runs. They have won 29 games and lost 13 games and a washed-out game in 43 matches in the T20I format.

This tri-series showcases how women’s cricket continues to grow globally, with participation from nations where the sport is still taking root. Brazil will be playing the Isle of Man twice, the Isle of Man will be playing Jersey twice, and Brazil will be playing Jersey thrice in the tri-series.
