Born in Adelaide, she began her professional journey with South Australia in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) at just 16, quickly establishing herself as a reliable fast bowler. Her international breakthrough came with her ODI debut on 17 December 2012, marking the start of a decade-long presence in Australia’s pace attack.

Domestically, Schutt has been a cornerstone for both South Australia and the Adelaide Strikers in the Women’s Big Bash League. Her experience extends to overseas leagues as well, representing Supernovas in 2018, London Spirit in 2022, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League in 2023, where she showcased her adaptability in different conditions.
