The 26-year-old will join a strong spin line-up at Headingley that already features players like Claudie Cooper, Ria Fackrell, Olivia Thomas, and Australian international Jess Jonassen. This addition comes as Yorkshire moves into Tier 1 domestic cricket, aiming to compete at the top level.

A product of the Derbyshire system, Glenn has previously played for The Blaze and has also gained invaluable experience playing domestic cricket across Australia and New Zealand. She was a pivotal figure for London Spirit in The Hundred in 2024, finishing with 13 wickets, the second-highest tally in the competition.

Glenn has played 73 T20Is and 18 ODIs since making her debut in December 2019. She is currently preparing for the upcoming 50-over World Cup, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka starting September 30. Yorkshire head coach Rich Pyrah welcomed the massive signing, calling Glenn’s experience ‘gold’ for the squad. He believes her skills will make a huge impact as the county looks to build on recent success, including their Tier 2 One-Day Cup triumph.

While Glenn is primarily reputed for her cunning art of leg-spin, she is also capable of lower-middle-order batting, having scored five List A half-centuries. Her most memorable innings came in May 2021 when she scored a splendid 71 not out for Central Sparks against Northern Diamonds at Headingley, leading her side to a memorable victory in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

She has previously played with national teammate Lauren Winfield-Hill and Brisbane Heat star Jess Jonassen, showcasing her in-depth experience at both domestic and international levels. In ODI cricket, she has scalped 23 wickets from 18 matches, maintaining an average of 23.78 and a cheap economy of 4.33 runs per over.

With four-time champions England opting for a spin-heavy squad for the upcoming thirteenth edition of the World Cup, Glenn’s addition strengthens both her county and national sides. Fans at Headingley can look forward to seeing her make an immediate impact with both ball and bat, adding depth and excitement to Yorkshire’s ambitions.
