Habiba Islam made her international debut at the remarkable age of 14 in May 2024, becoming the second youngest woman cricketer for Bangladesh to achieve this milestone. Her debut came during the India tour of Bangladesh on May 6, 2024, at Sylhet.
Despite her promising start, Habiba didn’t have many opportunities to showcase her talent, having played just one T20I match. Her debut, however, was a challenging experience as her two overs were expensive and she didn’t manage to take any wickets.
