Bio:
Rubya Haider’s journey in international cricket began in May 2023. As of 2024, she has exclusively played in T20 Internationals.
In the domestic circuit, Rubya honed her skills playing for Khulna Division from 2012 to 2022. She also had a stint with Barisal Division during the 2017/18 season, showcasing her talent and consistency over the years.
Her T20 International debut came on May 09, 2023, against Sri Lanka during the Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka at Colombo (SSC). However, her career faced a challenging period when she suffered a knee injury in July 2023, which led to her being dropped from the T20I squad for the series against India.
Despite this setback, Rubya’s determination saw her return to the T20I squad for their series against India in April 2024. As of 2024, she has scored over 55 runs in T20Is, marking her as a resilient and promising player in Bangladesh women’s cricket.
