Players to watch out:

Priya Punia

The 29-year-old opening batter impressed in the competition last year, scoring 75 runs from two outings, including a standout knock of 63. A seasoned domestic player with international experience, she is a reliable presence at the top of the order and can be counted on to lead the scoring.

Sumiti Soni

The 18-year-old left-arm spinner, who featured for South Delhi last season, made a notable impression by picking up 4 wickets from two outings while maintaining an economy rate of 6.40. A consistent performer for Delhi in the 2024-25 domestic season, she is certainly one to watch out for this year.

Soni Yadav

The 31-year-old bowling all-rounder made her mark in the 2024 Women’s DPL, claiming 4 wickets from three outings at an economy rate of 6.31. Handy with the bat on a few occasions and an experienced campaigner overall, she will once again be relied upon to deliver.

Parunika Sisodia

Pitch:

The Arun Jaitley Stadium offers a good batting surface, with the average score in the 150s. However, the lively wicket challenges batters throughout the game, particularly against pacers, while spinners also find enough assistance to stay in the contest.

The temperature is expected to hover around 32°C, with humidity at 84%, light winds, and scattered thundershowers. With rain on the radar, delays and interruptions are likely if the skies don’t clear.
