The tournament, to be played in Windhoek across two international-standard venues, the brand-new FNB Namibia Cricket Ground (NCG) and the refurbished HP Cricket Oval, will feature eight nations vying for two coveted places at the Global Qualifier.

Participating teams include Namibia (hosts), Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone. While Zimbabwe and Uganda arrive with well-earned reputations on the ICC pathway, Namibia will bank on home advantage. Meanwhile, Rwanda and Sierra Leone will be eager to build on their momentum after progressing from the Division 2 Qualifier in Botswana earlier this year.

The tournament reflects a significant moment for women’s cricket in Africa, showcasing both established teams and hungry emerging contenders. With places at the Global Qualifier on the line, every match promises high stakes and no shortage of competitive drama.
