Born prematurely in the seventh month and raised in a modest 225-square-foot home, Radha Yadav’s rise is a story of resilience and determination. Her cricketing journey began in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where her natural flair for spin bowling was identified early and sharpened through the domestic system. A wily left-arm orthodox spinner, she built her reputation on control, subtle variations, and exceptional athleticism in the field—qualities that soon made her an integral part of India’s white-ball setup.
Her progression through the ranks was fueled by standout performances for Mumbai in 2014/15, Baroda from the 2015/16 season onward, and West Zone, which opened the door to India’s emerging squads.
