She continued to be part of New Zealand’s long-term plans, developing into a dependable lower-middle-order batter and a useful part-time bowler.
Her standout international moment came in the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final, where she struck 38 off 28 balls and claimed 1/4 in a decisive over as New Zealand clinched the title against South Africa. In ODIs, Halliday has built a reputation as a reliable presence in the middle order. From 36 innings, she has scored 870 runs, including the highest score of 86. While still chasing her maiden international century, her ability to rotate strike, build partnerships, and finish strongly has made her a vital link in New Zealand’s batting line-up.
