England had lost their opening match against South Africa. Though they had a good comeback with consecutive 3 straight victories against Thailand, Pakistan and West Indies, the cancellation semi-finals match washed them out if the tournament.

On the other hand, Team India became the first team to qualify for the finals as they had won all four matches previously. They showed their powerful game and dominance by winning over Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. As an indian I am absolutely thrilled india has made it to the finals . But as a cricketer I feel for the English girls . I’d never want to find myself or my team in that situation. But the rules are such and it is what it is. Congratulations girls. This is big.
